Epicor is Up and Running in Georgetown

The first transactions for the Georgetown rod mill started processing in Epicor this week. Epicor is enterprise resource planning (ERP) software that allows us to better understand the status of our orders and inventory. A lot went into preparing the mill, the team, and the technology to get us here.

“I appreciate the hard work of everyone involved to help us launch Epicor in Georgetown,” Ram Balasubramanian, Chief Information Officer, said. “They got a lot done in a short amount of time and while we know the launch will not be perfect, it will go a long way toward helping us in future implementations.”

Pictured are several employees involved in the rollout, including: Rudy Rodriguez, Brandon Gibson, Robert Bowers, Kevin Howard, Steven Poole, Jason Kice, Bryan Bone, Bobby Hammond, Robert Chestnut, Carl Hanser, Thomas Hammond, Domonique Green, Carlton Thomas, Corbit Britt, Jacob Ward, and Robert Cambell. Not pictured are: Charlie Hricik, Ty Palmer, Todd Benson, and Greg Krumrey. A special thanks to Shan Arrington, Robert Chestnut, Robert Bowers, Brandon Gibson, Tracy Royal, Joe Vereen, Kenny Simmons, and Anand Gopalakrishnan.

The Georgetown team would also like to acknowledge the production team in Peoria for their advice and the LIBERTY accounting team for their participation in the data setup/cleanup at cutover. A big thank you to Jeff Marlow, Larry Avery, Jeff Kreuder, Mark Brachbill, Tammy McLean, Cody Clark, Dan Tyler, Jennifer Hoffman, and Trey Tennell for their efforts entering orders for the Georgetown facility.

Great teamwork, everyone!
